IFBB Pro Toney “The X-Man”
Freeman took home a 2nd place win from the first-ever Arnold
Classic Brasil competition during the weekend.
The highly-anticipated show was
held in Rio de Janeiro this year and featured IFBB Pro League men’s
bodybuilding, along with a complete lineup of amateur bodybuilding events as
well as a fitness expo.
This year's Arnold Classic Brasil
was a joint venture between Gov. Schwarzenegger, Arnold Sports Festival
co-promoter Jim Lorimer, International Federation of Body Building president
Rafael Santonja, and Savaget Promotions of Sáo Paulo, Brazil.
“We [were] very excited to take
the Arnold Sports Festival model to South America in 2013,” Lorimer said. “The
creation of the first Arnold Classic Europe in Madrid in October 2012 proved
that there was great demand worldwide for the Arnold Sports Festival concept…”
One of the most memorable
highlights from the the Arnold Classic Brasil was the professional men’s
bodybuilding contest, which was sanctioned by the IFBB Pro League.
World famous Toney “The
X-Man” Freeman took 2nd place behind long-time fellow
competitor, Brandon Curry. Rounding off the Top 5 in the competition were
Johnny Jackson in 3rd, Edward Nunn in 4th, and Fred
Smalls in 5th place.
The ATL Fitness Club congratulates
Freeman on his latest accomplishment in Brazil… We look forward to teaming up
with “The X-Man” during our pending health & fitness partnership in the
near future!
